I’m a product designer shaped by my Chinese 🇨🇳, German 🇩🇪, and Indonesian 🇮🇩 roots. This blend influences the way I think, design, and connect. Balancing logic with empathy, and structure with clarity.

Since starting in graphic design in 2020, I’ve shifted toward solving real problems through research-driven, strategic design. My focus is always on making experiences that feel intuitive, intentional, and human.

Design Principle

I’m especially interested in

Good design is not about doing more; it’s about doing less, better. I design with clarity, logic, and restraint, focusing on outcomes that feel effortless yet intentional. Below are four principles that reflect how I think and build as a product designer.

Intent ≠ Interpretation

I don’t assume people interpret things the same way. One phrase can mean five different things depending on someone’s culture, background, or mindset. That’s why I pay attention to language, behavior, and emotional context.

Design isn’t just about usability; it’s about aligning what we say with what people actually understand. That’s also why I’m actively refining how I communicate to design with more clarity, empathy, and intention.

Test, test, test

When you spend too long inside a project, your brain starts filling in the blanks automatically. You stop noticing the tiny mistakes, the misaligned logic, or the awkward phrasing, because it’s all too familiar. That’s when you lose perspective.

I’ve learned that testing isn’t just about validating ideas, it’s about catching what I’ve stopped seeing. Sometimes the simplest mistake is the one I’ve looked at a hundred times and ignored. Fresh eyes bring back the clarity I lost. That’s why I test early, and I test again, not because I doubt my work, but because I respect the things I might miss.

Alignment Is Designed, Not Assumed

People work differently, and that’s something I’ve learned to respect. Some need structure, some need flexibility, some need space, and some need constant updates. There’s no one right way to work, which is why I take the time to observe, ask questions, and adapt my approach depending on who I’m working with.

Good collaboration doesn’t happen automatically. It takes effort, check-ins, and awareness to make sure everyone’s building in the same direction. Whether I’m working with developers, designers, or stakeholders, I always try to create clarity, not confusion. The goal is alignment, not control.

Design Processes

Good design isn’t about doing more;

it’s about doing less, better.

I design with clarity, logic, and intention, focusing on outcomes that feel effortless but are grounded in purpose. Below are five principles that guide how I think and build as a product designer.

01

Understand

It starts with a clear briefing; getting to know the client’s needs, their taste, and what they truly want. I ask questions, listen closely, and explore early ideas through brainstorming to define the direction before moving into design.

03

Align

I work independently most of the time, but I know when to pause, check in, and get clarity. Whether it’s validating an idea or syncing with a key person, I make sure the work stays grounded; not just visually, but strategically.

Intent

Every decision has a reason. I remove distractions and focus on structure, clarity, and flow; making sure every element serves a purpose, nothing feels random, and the experience stays intuitive.

02

Evaluate

Before final delivery, I take a step back to review what works; and what doesn’t. I adjust details, rethink weak spots, and make sure the solution feels intentional, clear, and easy to follow.
